Yu Ohara
Born in 1995 in Saitama, Japan. Based in Tokyo.
With an affinity for nonsensical behavior and irrational actions, he creates video works and performances. Taking as a clue the emotions triggered by the breakdown of meaning, such as confusion and laughter that arise in moments when interpretation is suspended, he explores ways of loosening social pressures and norms, and of living within them. He likes things that make him laugh.
He has participated in numerous exhibitions, including “2025 FEICHUAN LIVEART FESTIVAL” (2025, The Village of Shengrendang, Luotian, China); “All inside-out sleeves” (2025, gallery10[TOH], Tokyo, Japan); “TOKYO MIDTOWN AWARD 2024 EXHIBITION” (2024, Tokyo Midtown, Tokyo, Japan).
He also runs “Cement Park” around Tokyo, a performance event focused primarily on improvisation, together with other artists.
大原 由（おおはら・ゆう）
1995年埼玉県生まれ。東京都在住。
意味不明な振る舞いや非合理的な行為に親近感を抱き、映像やパフォーマンスを制作する。解釈が宙づりになる瞬間に生まれる戸惑いや笑いなど、意味が通じないことによって誘発される情動を手がかりに、社会から加わる圧力や規範をほぐし、そのなかで生きる術を模索している。笑えるものが好き。
主な展覧会に、「2025廃船現場芸術祭」（2025年、聖人堂村、羅田、中国）、「袖すべてうらがえる」（2025年、gallery10 [TOH]、東京）、「TOKYO MIDTOWN AWARD 2024 EXHIBITION」（2024年、東京ミッドタウン、東京）など。
また、主に即興に焦点を当てた「水泥公園東京」というパフォーマンスイベントを数名のアーティストと協働して開催している。
